wanted a window seat and shelves to fit a nook in her dining area. Red oak with
russet-golden finish. Doors have concealed hinges and cherry knobs. | |

custom video racks flank a china cabinet. The owner wanted them to accent,
but not hide, the china cabinet. They were finished to match the china cabinet.
These shelves are tilted 15 degrees to make it easier to view the titles. |
Shaker
style chest of drawers in maple with antique cherry dye and French-polish finish.
Dimensions are 53" wide x 44" tall x 20" deep. The classic
4, 4, 3, 2, 2 drawer design was modified...the top drawers are really just 2 per
tier, to minimize wasted space, with false fronts to keep it faithful in apperance. | |

Stable - This barn was designed
to accomodate a young equiestrienne's Breyer horses. The wood is ash. The stall
doors slide. 16" high x 26" long.

Memorial Boxes - These were
ordered by the family of a deceased woodworker, whose passion for playing Santa
was well known. The wood is aromatic cedar, remnants from his shop, and the inset
carving is basswood. The awesome carving was done from a photograph by Jon Gillespie
of Washington, IL. |

It has 2 drawers and 5 doors - one with glass panel. Doors are square shouldered
Shaker style with flat panels of figured birch. Knobs are cherry. |
Pens
- These are a sampling of the pens and pencils I turn. I use about 40 different
woods. These pens are all made from Buckeye burl. When a buckeye tree forms a
burl, it secretes chemicals which produce colors from browns to grays to almost
black. You can see here how widely varied the colors and patterns can be in this
interesting wood.
